Baltimore City Mayor Brandon Scott announced this week that the city will not relax the use of masks, both indoors and outside, until 65% of adult residents have received a dose of COVID-19 vaccine. At the time of the announcement, May 17, 2021, only 52% of city residents 18 and over met that description, and only 42% were fully vaccinated, according to a spokesman from the Baltimore City Health Department.
